Biography English:
Sometimes it's all about being at the right place at the right time.The story about how Linda Sundblad got the role as lead singer of theband Lambretta is widely known. Her father ran a music store, and theguys in the band asked him if he knew of any good singers.If he had aswered anything but "my daughter" Lambretta would never havebecame the successful band that it was. The guys in the band were verylucky to have asked about a singer in Lindas dad's store first.

Although many considered Lambretta to be nothing withoutLinda, she never let it go to her head. Together they produced threealbums, which sold more than 300,000 copies, and included hits like"Blow my fuses", "Bimbo", and "Creep". While the media wanted onlyLinda, and jokingly wondered what those "dready rockers" were doing inthe backgroud, Linda responded by refusing to do solo interviews.

Meanwhile prizes and awards poured over the band. Lambrettawere big with the media, and Linda's side role as a young fashion iconcertainly didn't hurt things. 2005 she won Elle's award for best "partydressed" artist. Linda has done modeling campains for Danish designersMunthe plus Simonsen, Lóreal and modeled in many other fashion shows asa model in her own right rather than as an artist or celebrity.

When Linda released the hit single "She's a Freak" togetherwith the band Infinite Mass, she proved that life after Lambretta was apossibility. When her band finally fell apart in August of 2005, therewas only one thing people were screaming for; Solo Carrier!And now that is just what they got.

Lindas new album "Oh my God" will be released in November, andis mainly the result of her collaborations with songwriters such as;Tobias Karlsson (Infinite Mass, Pauline), Martin ”Nåid” Landqvist(Aha), Max Martin and Alexander Kronlund.The two last mentioned are well known names, who have worked withartists such as; Britney Spears, Backstreet Boys and Swedish Robyn. IfLambretta was considered a rock band, Linda has now worked her waytowards 80'spop music.The first single, "Oh Father" is written by Linda Sundblad and TobiasKarlsson and has already topped the charts in Sweden.
